Registered Foreign Lawyer
Hazel graduated from the University of Durham in 2009 with a Bachelor of Laws (2nd Upper Hons). She also obtained a Master of Laws (Distinction) from BPP Law School in London in 2010. She was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales as a Barrister-at-Law in July 2010. Hazel successfully completed Part A of the Singapore Bar Examinations and is registered as a Foreign Lawyer with the Attorney-General’s Chambers of Singapore.
Hazel is a pioneer recipient of the Supreme Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Scholarship. She was lead in-house counsel for the Brunei Ministry of Defence for international public procurements from 2011 to 2013 and has since moved into private practice in Singapore. Hazel is experienced in a wide range of commercial and corporate work including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, corporate restructuring and corporate finance.
Hazel is a member of the UK Bar Council, the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple and the Young Singapore International Arbitration Centre. She is originally from Brunei and is bilingual in English and Malay.
